Multicultural Programs
We provide free alcohol and other drugs support for all cultures in Western and South-Western Sydney. Our counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists speak over 20 languages and understand the important role your cultural identity plays in recovery.
How we help
Individual counselling
Connect with a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) treatment and support worker over the phone, online, or in-person.
Work together to:
Understand the reason for your alcohol and/or drug use
Develop a culturally sensitive recovery plan incorporating cultural traditions
Overcome challenges in your everyday life such as relationships, work and other stressors
Check out our 'Become an AOD (alcohol and other drug) Champion' community workshops
Multicultural communities often face additional barriers when getting support for alcohol and other drug (AOD) challenges, such as stigma, cultural taboos, and limited access to information. Odyssey Multicultural Programs are offering free, interactive ‘Become an AOD Champion’ workshops to tackle these issues.

Alcohol and other drugs education for CALD communities to prevent harm and encourage healthy habits. We also provide training to help organisations and service providers deliver culturally responsive programs.
Family support
Translated resources and information for family members impacted by substance use.
Individual counselling support for family members and loved ones impacted by substance use.
Referral to other CALD Services
We can help you access health, legal, visa, housing, financial, employment and other services to support your recovery journey.
We work with cultural and faith-based groups
Community engagement is an important part of our programs. Our dedicated team have actively engaged with leaders and members of African, Arabic, Vietnamese, and Pacific Islander communities to design and deliver support.
