Teams of volunteers and service providers dedicated to addressing and preventing substance dependence in the local community.
Community Drug Action Teams (CDATs) are groups of volunteers working collaboratively with schools, health services, law enforcement, and community organisations to address alcohol and other drugs issues affecting their local community
The Community Drug Action Team (CDAT) program is a dynamic, community-led initiative that delivers targeted health promotion and harm reduction strategies to reduce alcohol and other drug (AOD) related harms across New South Wales.
CDATs respond to local needs with culturally relevant, inclusive, and place-based approaches.
Odyssey House NSW is the lead agency in a consortium of organisations managing the CDAT program.
